Delivered by DHL on November 25, 2020 at 10:27 – the Bloomsbury Handbook of Sonic Methodologies. 52 contributions and over 850 pages on methods how to study sound as well as how through sound and listening (new) knowledge can be gained. With contributions from anthropologists, philosophers, biologists, (sound) artists, scholars from the medical world, from urban planning, from psychology, etc. etc. All this introduced and edited by my dear friend Michael Bull and myself.

This is wonderful!
How do I get a copy?
Regards
Marian
Dear Marian,
Please have a look here: https://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/the-bloomsbury-handbook-of-sonic-methodologies-9781501338755/
I hope they will decide for a paperback version once, as the book is quite expensive at the moment …
All the best, Marcel
Thanks Marcel,
I would love to get it in our library but yes aa more reasonably priced version would be great for my own bookshelf.
Great to see this subject expanding all the time. I’m really interested in its connections with quantum physics these days but trying to finish a PhD that should have been done a year ago!!!
Take care and congrats again on this. Very excited to see it.
Regards
Marian
Are you reading Barad?
Thank you for sharing, Marcel. I’m interested in getting this book.
I’m sharing some of my news from the World Listening Project. As we prepare to leave the discontinued Yahoo Groups platform on December 15, 2020, the World Listening Project is migrating organizational announcements to Mailchimp.

On behalf of the World Listening Project Board of Directors, we look forward to continuing to share more news of our plans for 2021 with you!
My best, Eric
Dear Eric,
I’m really very happy with your message. I was often wondering how I could connect more directly to the WLP, especially since I’m currently writing a new book on everyday sounds. I will for sure subscribe to your newsletter and if you have some nice tips (literature, sound works, etc.) on our everyday sonic environment, that would be great!
All the very best, Marcel
